ATMs and self-service devices are critical assets for banking organisations, as they need to be available 24\/7, 365 days a year.<\/p>\n

However, when ATMs are in production, different actors, whether legitimate or malicious, can manipulate the software and hardware in an uncontrolled way, increasing the risk of a potential cyber-attack or misconfiguration. This can ultimately affect the availability of the device.<\/p>\n

Auriga\u2019s very own Juan Ramon Aramendia<\/strong>, Product Manager<\/strong>, will be speaking alongside Hugo Carrillo, ATM Analyst for 5B, <\/strong>at this event.<\/p>\n

In their presentation \u201cSoftware & hardware integrity in the ATM channel: a cybersecurity operations model.\u201d<\/a> they will be discussing how 5B implemented a 24\/7 cybersecurity operations model based on Auriga\u2019s Lookwise Device Manager (LDM) solution.<\/p>\n

They will also discuss how banks can control software and hardware integrity<\/strong> in their ATM channel. The presentation will include the processes defined to securely deploy a software image and perform on-site maintenance activities on an ATM, while monitoring and responding to unplanned or uncontrolled actions.<\/p>\n
