So we wanted to find out and sponsored <strong>new research<\/strong> \u2013 The Branch Transformation for Financial Institutions survey \u2013 run by ATM Marketplace.<\/p>\n<p>The study asked around <strong>150 technology leaders within leading European and North American banks<\/strong> how advanced technology solutions are being adopted to maximise branch processes, sales and customer experience opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The results are now in, and we want to share them with you.<\/p>\n<h2>Key findings of the Branch Transformation survey<\/h2>\n<p>A strategic focus on <strong>branch transformation<\/strong> over closure<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Over half of banks (57%) surveyed\u00a0said closing branches was not part of their strategy within the next three years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Implementation of <strong>digital technology<\/strong> and <strong>data analytics<\/strong> for superior customer experiences<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Most banks (73%) are looking to implement new technology solutions to improve how customers and visitors are welcomed in the branch by staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Investment drive into <strong>Big Data<\/strong>, <strong>AI<\/strong> and <strong>business intelligence<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Banks rate their most important technology investments to be big data analytics (75%), business intelligence (69%), AI and chatbots (68%) and biometric authentication (61%)<\/li>\n<li>Hyped technology like blockchain and bitcoin (24% and mixed and augmented reality (12%) are well down the list of priorities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To view the full results and find out what they mean, follow the link below.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.atmmarketplace.com\/resources\/branch-transformation-for-financial-institutions-an-industry-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read the Full Report<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How will bank branches change over the next three years?
