Mobile as a cross channel enabler

Few banks and businesses have connected their multiple channels, including mobile, to create an integrated multichannel experience. E-commerce is rising, however, there is currently no existing pan-European solution that covers both push payments and direct debits. Run by EBA CLEARING, the pan-European payment infrastructure solutions provider, MyBank enables customers to pay for their online purchases via their regular online banking environment, and Auriga has joined as routing service and validation service provider.

The secure Europe wide e-authorisation solution, allows for domestic and cross-border transactions and plans to simplify online/mobile payments. In order to meet the increasing requirement of banking solutions, Auriga recently announced the integration of its all-in-one “app” PlainPay into MyBank. In turn, allowing users to carry out instant SEPA credit transfers on their smartphones, without having to input any personal or sensitive information, thanks to the solutions’ direct link to users’ home banking.
